Hi, I really want to play this game, but I'm stuck in the main menu. I can choose options, but can't confirm my choice. It seems like Z key isn't working for me.

How odd! Let's try to bugfix. If you're playing the web version, which browser and keyboard layout are you using, please? (i.e. firefox/QWERTY, chrome/AZERTY)

I'm playing the standalone web version through the itch.io launcher. My default browser is Firefox, and my keyboard layout is QWERTY.

hrm. That's the same as mine. Let me play it to check if anything has changed.

Sure! Let me know if you'll find anything.

There's a slight delay after the VR helmet comes down over the face while it plays music - enough to scroll away if you don't wait or you have it muted. Can you check to see if it starts after waiting ten seconds? (Shouldn't take ten seconds)

If not, do the other options work when you press Z?

what is the file ".pocket" ?

hi! It's a filetype for the Analogue Pocket

Wow, A virtual reality inside an old handheld device.

That was so cute! Did exactly what it needed to, no more, no less. I can see it being an actual memory game for the Game Boy.

This is really fun. It took me awhile to figure out what was going on but it was fun to explore the environment because it looks so cool

Eventually I figured it out and finished the game in 244 steps

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I think the best step count we've worked out is 90, but that's without using the advanced settings at the beginning. I'm sure there's a pathway that is more optimal.

Awesome concept! I really liked the surreal vibe. Is there any dev docs one could check out about how to get that effect with palette swapping? I've been trying to implement something similar but your solution seems way more elegant.

Not yet! I'll take a look at putting something together when I've got time to spare - could be a few months though!

I’m also interested!

It's very complicated and will require diagrams. I'll get round to it eventually, I promise.

cool!

Is this rom compatible with the original gameboy dmg or is it only gameboy color?

Only gameboy color I'm afraid. The palette swapping techniques we used requires multiple palette support.
